For the past year, OCP’s safety committee and team have been working on developing a workable Pre-Task Analysis form. We thank the many of employees who have helped us in developing and using the Ready Sheet on projects in each city.

Currently, we are working on developing a phone app to complete these sheets. Using the data collected we will be able to develop processes to help in the prevention of accidents. Additionally, this data will allow us to further understand the training needs for employees on all job sites.

The ultimate goal is to have every employee use the app or hard sheet before starting their assigned task each morning, or when a task has changed, by January 1, 2019. The app we have ultimately chosen comes from the Industry Safe Software where we already track inspections on the job, incidents, and training.

The checklist is designed to help you identify the most common hazards associated with our work. All of which were discovered by thoroughly reviewing OCP’s past safety inspections and accidents. OCP’s primary goal will always be to send each employee home safely, injury free every day. As always, we entrust all employees to stop all unsafe actions and to correct or report hazards before proceeding with work.
