OCP Contractors is the Contractor of Choice because of the hard work and dedication of each one of you. Three years ago, when we made the strategic decision as a company to hire a Human Resources Manager, we had the vision to have a more engaged workforce.

Since the end of 2016, our Human Resources Manager Shreya Trivedi has implemented multiple initiatives in line with that vision. Initiatives such as Employee of Choice or this newsletter, we’ve created a place to celebrate our successes and achievements. This year in memory of our Founder, Barney Paskiet, we created a scholarship program to promote the young generation to enter the trades and benefit by the apprenticeship and training opportunities provided by the Union. To create a pipeline of future apprentices, we actively participated in job fairs and expositions. As an Affirmative Action Plan employer, we have set some internal goals and we are proud to say that we are making positive strides every day.

Thank you, Shreya for all that you have done to bring that vision and so many other initiatives to life within our company. Shreya is leaving OCP and relocating to Minneapolis, MN. We wish her the very best with her new endeavor. In the coming week, you will be introduced to your new Human Resources Manager, who we know will continue to bring forth initiatives to foster OCP’s culture as we grow and thrive into the future.
