OCP’s Employees of Choice are individuals who exemplify the qualities and characteristics that have made our 50 years of success possible. Employees of Choice are employees in the field and office who lead by action to advance safety, productivity, and innovation on projects. Additionally, these employees are consistent, dependable, and contribute to the betterment of the team. Thanks to the hard work of these individuals, OCP has proudly become the interior Contractor of Choice.

Chris Farrington

  • Position: Foreman

  • Industry Tenure: 32 Years

  • What hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?
  • I enjoy training and playing with my dogs.
  • What made you choose to work for OCP?
  • The opportunity to work with friends that I have known for years is the main reason I love working for OCP.
  • What is your favorite project that you have worked on?
  • The AC Marriott because of the crew.

Joe Kistner

“Joe has taken over our remodel projects at Ohio Living Swan Creek Retirement Home this past year and has hit the ground running. Joe and his on-site team have vastly improved OCP’s turn over dates on the remodel projects.   • What brought you to the construction industry and what made you stay?
  • I got into construction when I moved to Columbus, Ohio because it was a great opportunity. I have been in Columbus for 13 years. Construction offers something different every day and I enjoy it. I like seeing projects come together.
    • What is your favorite project that you have worked on?
    • The TDC Boardwalk.
      • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
      • Woodworking. I typically build cabinets for family and friends. My favorite thing to create is wooden American flags.

      • My whole family is in construction. I was pretty much born to be in the industry.
      • What hobbies do you have outside of work?
      • Hunting and a lot of outdoor activities.
      • What advice would you give to a new employee?
      • Work hard and try to learn as much as possible to be successful.
